Stock Take Notice — November 2025
Please note that we’ll be conducting a stock take from the 29th of October 2025.
During this time, no items will be dispatched.

Dispatches will resume on Monday, 10th November 2025.

Orders placed before this date are aimed to be shipped beforehand, however, if this isn’t possible, they will be dispatched once normal operations resume on the 10th.

Next Day Delivery and part dispatch services will be temporarily unavailable during this period.
We’ll do our very best to fulfil as many orders as possible before the stock take begins.

Shipping
We offer a huge range of products in a variety of finishes, sizes and styles. Whilst we endeavour to keep as many options as possible in stock, it is not always possible for us to stock every combination.
Items which are in stock at the time of ordering will be despatched to you within 7-10 working days. If you have ordered multiple items, and 1 or more items are out of stock, your order will only be shipped when the consignment is complete. If you would prefer partial shipments, please email us and we can get it arranged for you.
Pre-orders
If you have ordered a pre-order item, your order will ship on or around the date given on the product page. These dates can move but we do endeavour to inform all customers of any delays.
If you have ordered multiple items, and 1 or more items are pre-orders, your order will only be shipped when the consignment is complete. If you would prefer a part dispatch, please email us and we can get it arranged for you.
Delivery Instructions & Liability
Once your order has been dispatched, any changes made to the delivery—such as requesting a new delivery date, address change, or instructing the courier to leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place—are deemed to be authorised by you.
In these cases, The Switch Depot is not liable for loss, theft, or damage once the parcel is marked as delivered by the courier.

DPD Next working day (BG Electrical goods only)
Ordered before 2pm, shipped Monday-Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays). This service is trackable through DPD once your order has been dispatched. This service is non-refundable. This service is subject to stock availability, please call to check.
Evri (Only available for orders below £70)
Shipped Monday-Friday (Excluding Bank Holidays). This service is trackable through Evri once your order has been dispatched.
DPD Free shipping (Orders over £150*)
Shipped Monday-Friday. This service is trackable through DPD once your order has been dispatched. Subject to Uk mainland postcode.
