Do you have samples of the different finishes?

Unfortunately, we don’t have samples of the different finishes available.

Do you have any discount codes?

We don’t have any discount codes running at the moment, however you can sign up to our newsletter to stay up to date with any future promotions.

Do I need to open an account to place an order?

No, you can choose to checkout as a guest.

I've forgotten my password to my account, what should I do?

What is an intermediate switch used for?

An intermediate switch is needed when you have more than two switches controlling the same lighting circuit.

Do you sell more than a 1 Gang Intermediate switch?

Yes we do have 2 Gang Intermediate switches in some ranges. If a grid system is available in your selected range you can custom build your switch to your requirements.

What is the difference between a 1 way, 2 way and an intermediate switch?

1 way is an on/off switch, this means you can only turn your light on or off in one location.

2 way means there are 2 switches controlling the same light, this allows you to turn the same light on or off in two locations. For example, you may want a bedroom light switch at the door and at the bedside. A 2 way light can do be used as a 1 way light switch.

An intermediate switch allows you to turn the same light on/off in 3 locations. For example, this may be at the top of the stairs, the bottom of the stairs and at the end of the hallway.

What depth of back box do we need for a USB socket?

Most USB sockets can now be installed to a 25mm depth back box but if you have the option we would recommend a 35mm box. Please check the product specification to be sure. 

Are your switches and sockets suitable for use outside the UK?

Our switches and sockets are suitable for countries that have a mains supply of between 220 and 240 volts. Please check with a qualified electrician if you are unsure what your main supply is.

How can I track my order?

The tracking link will be emailed to you as soon as your order has left our warehouse.

Please contact us here and we'll get back to you. We're here Monday to Fridday 8-5.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel you order up until your order is sent to the warehouse for dispatch. Please contact us as soon as possible (9-5pm Monday-Friday) so we can action the cancellation for you.

If your order has already been dispatched by our team, we ask that you follow the returns process.

My order has arrived damaged, what should I do?

We’re sorry to hear your order has arrived damaged. Please contact us hello@theswitchdepot.co.uk (within 48 hours of receiving your parcel) with your order number and images of the fault and we will get this resolved quickly for you.

Something is missing from my delivery, what should I do?

We’re sorry to hear something is missing from your order. Please contact us (within 48 hours of receiving your parcel) with your order number and details of the missing product and we will get this resolved quickly for you.

I’ve received an incorrect product, what should I do?

We’re sorry to hear you’ve received the wrong product in your order. Please contact us info@theswitchdepot.co.uk (within 48 hours of receiving your parcel) with your order number and details of the incorrect product you’ve received, and we will get this resolved quickly for you.

I haven't received my order, what do I do?
